Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts athlete competing for UFC. UFC for the Flyweight Division is currently a Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sport career by becoming a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimity. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in the year 2011, along with the title of year-end 2016 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship and in 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, she won the WMC World Championships. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Shevchenko set the professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She took the win in the second round by TKO and then won the next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled an overall record of 3-1. Shevchenko was forced to take a absence from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the fight.
